Dragon Boat Festival is one of our Chinese traditional festivals. we celebrate it on 5th May( Chinese Calendar) every year.
on this day, we will eat Zongzi and Salty eggs,and dragon boat race, means happy and health.
Zongzi is one kind of rice, which is sticky. and we will add some red beans, pork, beef etc inside of the rice, then we use one kind of leaves wrap rice, with many different shapes. after tie, then steam. it is done when you smell sweet smell, you can enjoy it.
Salty egg is made from eggs. we use new duck's eggs put into one jar, adding some salt, after about one month, then can be eaten.
the most import is we will held dragon boat race. it is very funny, cause we will decorate our boat like dragon and wear nice clothes, play on the river. this need one team together and help each other. it means that only one team together, we can be success and only after work hard, we can enjoy the harvest.
Traditional culture need different ways to inheritance, so young people will not only inheritance, but also make creativity based on tradition.
